Andrea Williams
I am a lifelong Detroiter having grown and developed my skills at Cass Technical High School and then Wayne State University. After working for several companies such as Solomon Friedman and Associates (now Real Integrated), Quicken Loans and Autoweek, I landed a position at the global agency, Digitas. Ultimately, the two main Auto accounts were absorbed into another global agency with in the network, Leo Burnett. Collectively, I spent 8 years there, with the last 3 years being a Senior Art Director.
I balanced my day job with personal creative work, like branding and design for small to medium size companies and non-profits. In February, I decided to take the big leap into the world of full time entrepreneurship, under my company Andrea Designs Studio.
My creative approach is one of unexpected color and modern, clean design. I like to incorporate hand lettering or other illustrative elements where it feels right.
For me, design is such a feeling. And I give a little piece of myself with every project.
